I'm recruiting on behalf of a growing electronic security business for an experienced Security Engineer to support the delivery of installation, service and maintenance works across a broad portfolio of commercial customers throughout the London area.

The Role

You'll be responsible for carrying out the installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding of electronic security systems, ensuring all works are completed safely, professionally and to the highest standards.

Working closely with the Operations team and office coordinators, you'll manage your own workload, maintain accurate documentation and act as the primary point of contact for customers whilst representing the business professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm and related electronic security systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out corrective maintenance works across customer sites.
• Complete installation, service and maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Work closely with office coordinators, Project Managers and fellow engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and Health & Safety legislation.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment to a professional standard.
• Provide excellent customer service whilst maintaining strong relationships with clients.
• Support projects across the UK, including occasional overnight stays where required.

About You

You'll ideally have experience with:

• Installation, service and maintenance of electronic security systems.
• CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostic activities.
• Working independently whilst managing your own workload.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Health & Safety awareness and safe working practices.
• Producing accurate job documentation and reports.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
