The Role:

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the overnight operations of the Monitoring Center while ensuring the highest level of service delivery to clients. You’ll be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and escalating incidents that may impact client people, property or assets across a variety of sites from a central location.

This role also includes leading and supporting the overnight monitoring team, approving timesheets and PTO requests, assisting with training and coaching, and escalating operational concerns to management where required. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission critical environment while leading by example.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Security Operations Center, 911 Dispatch Center or similar monitoring environment
• Previous experience with CCTV, alarm monitoring, access control or video surveillance systems
• Leadership or people management experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service and telephone manner
• Comfortable working in a high-tech and fast paced environment
• Ability to multitask and make rapid decisions under pressure
• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented
• Basic IT and troubleshooting knowledge preferred
• Must be a team player and equally work well on own initiative
• Experience with IMMIX and TMA certifications are considered a plus
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays when required
