Midlands Region - Birmingham and surrounding areas

• Up to £38,000 Basic Salary
• Company Vehicle (car or van)
• Paid Travel Time & Overtime
• Call-Out Rota (£270 Weekly Standby Payment)

I'm currently recruiting for a Security Service & Small Works Engineer to join a well-established and growing security systems specialist operating across the Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a varied role covering preventative maintenance, fault finding, reactive call-outs and small works across a range of commercial and multi-site customer environments.

The Role:

• You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and supporting a variety of electronic security systems, ensuring customers receive a high standard of technical support and customer service.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Planned preventative maintenance visits
• Reactive fault finding and repairs
• Small works and system upgrades
• Completing electronic job reports and documentation
• Supporting customers with technical advice and system recommendations
• Working closely with scheduling and operations teams
• Participating in the on-call rota

Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining security systems
• Strong knowledge of:
• CCTV (Analogue & IP)
• Access Control
• Door Entry / Intercom Systems
• Intruder Alarms
• Experience carrying out fault finding, maintenance and small works
• Strong customer-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full UK Driving Licence

Package:

• Basic salary up to £38,000
• Company vehicle
• Paid travel time after 30 minutes each way
• Overtime available
• £270 standby payment whilst on call
