Salary Details

Year 1 - £15,927.31; Year 2 - £18,495.89; Year 3 - £21,613.83

What you will need

• At least 3 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade 4 or above, including English and Maths.
• You must demonstrate that you have the legal Right to Work in the UK. 
• A positive attitude and a desire to learn.
• Please Note – due to site and travel requirements, applicants must be 18 or over and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

Above all, you’ll have a desire to work in a practical and hands-on career. Ideally, you’ll also have an interest in technology and providing high-quality customer service. We’re looking for individuals who display excellent communication, organisation, and teamworking skills.

Over the past 25+ years they have established a strong reputation and position within the industry for their work across the technology, datacentre, biotech, corporate, banking, construction, and education, and petrochemical sectors.

About the role

As a security engineer no two days are the same. You’ll be out and about, providing high quality customer service to a wide variety of customers. You’ll be dealing with electronic security systems including CCTV cameras, Intruder Alarm, Access Control, and Intercom systems, as either an Installation or Service Engineer. Get training and experience of installing, testing and commissioning cabling and containment systems, components and control equipment on new systems as well as maintaining our existing clients Security solutions.

Your training programme

The training will consist of up to week-long modules covering theory and practical classroom training, manufacturer systems training, and real-world experience shadowing Frontline engineers in the field. By the end of your training programme, you’ll know how to confidently install, service, and maintain a range of electronic security systems.

Complete the programme and you will join one of our field installation and maintenance teams as a fully qualified engineer. Here your training will continue, with close support from colleagues and managers.

Assessment Process

We run a multi-stage assessment process designed to highlight your relevant skills, qualities, and aptitude. You don’t need any previous experience, but it would be a bonus.
