With over 100 engineers installing systems EMEA-wide, world class HSE is a critical requirement. Now you can manage and develop the function, group-wide.
The voice and face of best HSE practice
This is a role for someone who can not only manage the regulatory requirements of HSE, but also promote safe working right across the group.
You’ll train, coach and advise managers on all aspects of Safe Working, from implementing HSE law to carrying out risk assessments on-site.
Your workload will also cover accreditation management (including ISO and NSI), site safety assessment, incident investigation and internal / external audit programmes.
Plus, you’ll be the driving force behind HSE policy development, in response to changing regulations and the needs of a business that’s growing internationally.
Build on your UK HSE experience
The baseline requirements for the role are a strong UK HSE background, IOSH qualification and ISO 9001 QMS know-how, gained in Engineering, Construction or, of course, Security.
Irish and EMEA knowledge would be useful, but our client is more concerned with the ‘softer’ skills needed and will train you in international regs and standards.
Particularly important is your ability to build relationships with busy engineers, who work at height and with high voltages, on major construction sites or in operational buildings.
And you should be a skilled incident investigator, who can use your findings to quickly update policy to prevent recurrence.
As a final note, you’ll need to complete security clearances before taking up the job.

You’d be based in rural Buckinghamshire, but you can expect to travel to site at times, when normal travel arrangements resume.
