Service Engineer

You will be working for a leading high security entry specialist who supply and install a wide range of quality and innovative products that help ensure their clients premises are kept safe and secure. You will be working as a Service Engineer to cover the London area and will be responsible for the service and maintenance on a range of door entry products such as safety portals, revolving doors, speed lanes and turnstiles.

Job Role Summary:

Due to significant year-on-year growth you will be working as an additional Service Engineer in our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of our equipment throughout the UK. As a Service Engineer you will be given manufacturers’ training, however, the ideal candidate will be electrically biased but with a good mechanical background too. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance, warranty and fault rectification visits. 
• Testing and repair of faulty parts.
• To oversee and report on van stock levels ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded. 
• Completion of job–related paperwork – worksheets/service sheets, keeping up to date site activity on our internal system, obtaining client sign off for work performed. 
• High level of security clearance will be required to certain sites. 
• Monday – Friday, 37.5 hour week with flexibility for overtime due to callouts. 
• Rota weekend/bank holiday cover may be required. 

Skills Required:

• Electrical background (fault finding).
• Experience of field-based work.
• General mechanical knowledge.
• Ideally will have worked on security, access controls, lifts, CCTV and escalators.
• Problem solving with a can-do attitude.
• Flexibility with working hours.
• Real focus on providing excellent customer service.

Package includes TOTR van, door to door travel time, overtime, health policy, perk box, tools and equipment to fulfil the role (OTE £50k-£60k)
