Zitko Talent is a cost effective, all-in-one programme for employing and developing engineering talent. Whether you want to cross-train experienced people from other sectors or develop Graduates or school leavers, Zitko Talent delivers.
Zitko Talent is a 12-month programme that integrates paid employment with around 300 hours of certified theoretical and product training.
As an employer you can choose from an exceptional pool of candidate trainees who’ve completed rigorous selection process, including aptitude testing and interview.
While you provide supervised, paid work experience, we manage the entire training and development side, working with partners including Tavcom, Skills4Security and FIA.
Your trainee(s) will additionally receive certified level 1 training from the manufacturers in at least 6 of the systems you use specifically in your business.
They’ll be getting a flying start and will quickly become productive members of your team.
The programme has three distinct streams for different industry requirements.

Developing Fire & Security all-rounders. If you’re servicing clients across the full fire & security spectrum, this is the perfect way to onboard fresh engineering talent.
The 12-month programme is designed to give trainees the practical and theoretical knowledge they need to work safely and successfully in the Fire & Security industry.
From gaining their ECS card in block one to graduating with a Level 3 Fire & Security Professional qualification, they’ll become highly effective members of your team.
Technical instruction takes place remotely and in our labs with short courses ranging from IP networking to electrical certifications. See the individual stream pages for details.
This amounts to about 160 hours of training, with manufacturers providing typically a further 150 hours’ accredited instruction in the systems you use.
By the end of the programme, your trainee will be absolutely custom trained for your business and settled with your team for the long-term.
Thanks to the Talent’s built-in flexibility, we can train and develop everyone from experienced engineers from other sectors to school leavers, Graduates and career changers.
Initially we’re focusing on resourcing technician and engineer roles in these fields:
