Fire and Security Engineer

£32-37,000 plus £4k plus company vehicle inc personal use

A fantastic opportunity to join an expanding Fire and Security systems provider with offices in North and South Manchester.

Excellent rates of pay between £32,000 to £37,000 DOE.

Can earn up to £4,000 via call out, travel and overtime paid in addition to salary.
22 days holiday (plus bank holidays).

Candidate requirements:

Minimum of 5 years (not including training) experienced with both Electronic Security and Life Safety Systems with an NSI Gold accredited company.
Extremely competent with the installation and commissioning of all types of Fire & Security Systems including Remote Monitoring.
Be able to carry out maintenance and fault finding to a high level on all system types.
Successfully meet security screening requirements to BS7858:2009, DBS and Police check.
A High level of knowledge working on manufactures such as but not limited to: Honeywell, Menvier, Texecom, Paxton, Videx, C-Tec , Advanced, Morley, Hikvision, Hanwa & Avigilon.
Sound knowledge of IT, Networking, Electrical and Electronic principles.
Availability to be included within the company 24 hour call out rota.

Additional Requirements / Skills:

Be self-managed and able to work under your own initiative whilst still being a good team player.
Good judgement and the ability to make rational decisions in limited timescales.
Managing your vehicle stock control.
Always adhering to and working responsibly in line with the companies H&S Policy.
Completion of audit paperwork and job sheets, both manually and electronically.
Be reliable, organised, hardworking and have good planning skills.
Clean Driving Licence.
Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
To act as a company ambassador.
Maintaining/developing good relations with both clients and colleagues.
