Fire and Security Engineer

£32-37,000 plus £4k plus company vehicle inc personal use

• Excellent rates of pay between £32,000 to £37,000 DOE.

• Can earn up to £4,000 via call out, travel and overtime paid in addition to salary.

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years (not including training) experienced with both Electronic Security and Life Safety Systems with an NSI Gold accredited company.
• Extremely competent with the installation and commissioning of all types of Fire & Security Systems including Remote Monitoring.
• Be able to carry out maintenance and fault finding to a high level on all system types.
• Successfully meet security screening requirements to BS7858:2009, DBS and Police check.
• A High level of knowledge working on manufactures such as but not limited to: Honeywell, Menvier, Texecom, Paxton, Videx, C-Tec , Advanced, Morley, Hikvision, Hanwa & Avigilon.
• Sound knowledge of IT, Networking, Electrical and Electronic principles.
• Availability to be included within the company 24 hour call out rota.

Additional Requirements / Skills:

• Be self-managed and able to work under your own initiative whilst still being a good team player.
• Good judgement and the ability to make rational decisions in limited timescales.
• Managing your vehicle stock control.
• Always adhering to and working responsibly in line with the companies H&S Policy.
• Completion of audit paperwork and job sheets, both manually and electronically.
• Be reliable, organised, hardworking and have good planning skills.
• Clean Driving Licence.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• To act as a company ambassador.
• Maintaining/developing good relations with both clients and colleagues.
