Location: London - N/NW - hybrid/flexibleSalary: £40,000 to £55,000, plus company car or allowance (£4,800)Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen to progress into a management role.  Our Client is seeking a Fire & Security Field Line Manager to join the Service Department managing a team of up to 20 Engineers - managing field operations, handling escalations and driving performance and development. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support day-to-day engineering operations across the field team.
• Drive recruitment, on-boarding and continuous development of engineering staff.
• Monitor and enhance performance through coaching, training and regular appraisals.
• Oversee scheduling, including on-call rota management and providing cover where necessary.  
• Act as a technical escalation point and manage site investigations.
• Ensure high standards through audits, RAMS, PPE compliance, toolbox talks and incident reviews.
• Deliver revenue-generating work for a portion of time, focusing on escalated and aged tasks.
• Conduct regular team meetings and foster a culture of learning and up-skilling.

What We’re Looking For:

• Comprehensive industry experience - 5 years plus fire & security knowledge
• Technical experience and knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
• Experience of working within a continually pressured environment and to tight operational deadlines
• Experience of leading, coaching and developing teams.
