Security tech is a rapidly growing industry - and there’s a real shortage of skilled people who can design, install and support the equipment and systems involved.
The Zitko Talent Programme provides fast-track entry into the security tech industry. Zitko Talent is a coalition of employers, manufacturers, accredited tech trainers and professional bodies.
We’re fast tracking engineers from other industries, as well as graduates, college and school leavers into security tech roles, via an intensive 12-month conversion programme. Together we’re providing structured, salaried work experience combined with close to 300 hours of technical and product training.
It’s an exciting time to be in the fire and security industry. And with the quality of this programme we’re creating a valuable new talent pipeline.
Many employers we’ve spoken to avoid this route due to the training and administrative costs involved, as well as the perceived risk of former trainees being poached.
Zitko Talent has addressed these challenges head on. We’ve radically cut training costs through our educational partnerships and volume purchasing power.
