Security Service/Support Engineer
📍 Location: South/West of the UK - London, Reading, Bristol, occasional travel to South Coast📁 Department: Service👤 Salary: Negotiable D.O.E up to £40k+
As a Security Service/Support Engineer, you’ll be the face of our company, providing expert maintenance and support for a wide range of security systems, including CCTV, Intruder Alarms, and Access Control. We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused engineer who takes pride in delivering top-tier service while maintaining strong client relationships.

🔹 Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial callouts for security systems🔹 Carry out remedial and small works on Intruder, CCTV, Access Control, and AV systems (once trained)🔹 Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships🔹 Provide on-site and telephone technical support🔹 Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times🔹 Participate in the on-call support rota🔹 Complete and maintain accurate site visit paperwork with client sign-off🔹 Assist with installations when required
✔ Minimum 3 years’ experience in a security engineering role✔ Full UK driving licence✔ Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills✔ Excellent communication and paperwork skills✔ Self-motivated, forward-thinking, and eager to learn new technologies✔ Knowledge of NSI standards and policies✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team✔ Full UK working rights (DBS & vetting will be required)
➕ Experience working within an NSI/SSAIB-accredited company➕ Valid CSCS / ECS card➕ Certifications such as IPAF / PASMA / Asbestos Awareness➕ Strong IT networking skills➕ Knowledge of enterprise-level security systems
