We’re working with a long-established, market-leading fire protection business that's part of a globally renowned safety group, now backed by a major international player in the life safety and infrastructure space. They’re expanding their remote Design team – and looking for an experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer to join their journey.

This is a fully remote position (excluding site visits), with the opportunity to go into the office if desired, offering excellent flexibility and the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting fire protection projects across the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating high-quality sprinkler system designs (LPC Rules, NFPA, FM) for a variety of commercial and industrial applications
• Managing the design process throughout the full project lifecycle
• Producing installation drawings, hydraulic calculations, and technical documentation
• Coordinating designs with project teams and ensuring compliance with UK and international standards
• Occasional on-site surveys where required
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• LPCB Basic Design certificate as a minimum (Intermediate or FHC highly desirable)
• Strong working knowledge of LPC sprinkler rules (FM and NFPA standards a bonus)
• 5+ years of fire sprinkler design experience
• Proficiency in hydraulic calculations and technical drawings
• Background in water mist, dry/wet risers, or hydrant systems is a plus

This is a remote-based position, however there are key locations for the occasional site visits or meetings if needed: Birmingham, London, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge.

• Up to £53,000 base salary DOE
